Garage producer Beatloafe rolls out an exclusive Chancer Records release, “Theme from Echo Chamber”. Loaded with striking melodies and soaked in reverberations, “Theme from…” is a tribute to Dub music and the pioneers that shaped the sound in the 70’s and beyond – but with a modern-day dancefloor ethos. The rhythms push towards the carnival-influenced territory of the UK Funky scene, whilst maintaining a tinge of Jungle that has come to be a hallmark of Beatloafe’s recent productions. As ever, the track plunders the audiosphere to borrow from various genres and snatch a few samples.
