Kid Karoshi

Kid Karoshi are a four piece band from London, UK. Their’s is a landscape where the urban meets the ethereal – a melting pot of influences, long lost stories, and stirring dreams transfused into poetry. Blending elements of electronic, indie rock and hip hop, Kid Karoshi’s style weaves dubbed out guitar with hypnotic vocals, visceral drums and intricate funk fused bass lines. The band consists of Hannah Karoshi (Lead vocals) Jacob Ross (Guitar, Synth) Amir Gander (Bass) and George Harris (drums). In 2009 the band released their EP ‘We’re not there’ featuring the lead vocals and keys of Shama Rahman and Ivan Madeira respectively. Since early 2011, the band have embarked on an instinct driven process of unadulterated creativity, merging their eclectic influences and mastering a sound that is organically and undeniably their own. Songs ‘Anais’ and ‘Mistress’ are due for release in November 2011 as the band work on writing and recording new material.
